Description
This is my father's family home, where my grandmother used to live. After my grandmother passed away, my father kept up the maintenance, travelling there frequently from Aichi Prefecture. Now that my father has also passed away, the family takes turns visiting now and then to air out the house and weed the grounds. We have many childhood memories here and we know how carefully my father looked after it, so ideally we would like to protect it. Realistically, however, the whole family lives in Aichi Prefecture and it is difficult to continue managing it adequately, so we would like to pass it on to someone who will take good care of it.
It is an old building and has minor defects, but I believe it can be lived in right away. Location: about a 3-minute walk to a convenience store, about 3 minutes by car to a pharmacy, and about 5 minutes by car to a supermarket. It is countryside, but daily life is convenient. The parking space is large. The Gero Onsen hot spring town is about a 15-minute walk away, so a stroll there and back makes for good exercise.
The property's main feature is the garden. It is somewhat overgrown at the moment, but if you hire a gardener to tidy it up, it has the character of a Japanese garden. The house stands on high ground, so the view from the second floor is pleasant.
Disadvantage: from the available documents, it cannot be confirmed that the property fronts a road as defined by the Building Standards Act, so as things stand it must be considered a property where rebuilding is not allowed.
<Highlights>
- Close to a convenience store, pharmacy and supermarket.
- About a 15-minute walk to the hot spring town (5 minutes by car).
- A garden with the feel of a Japanese garden.
- Elevated site with a good view.
