Description
Building permit confirmation is required when carrying out new construction, extensions or renovations.
- This is a vacant house where the clearing out of household belongings is still in progress. Once a buyer is decided, the disposal of unneeded remaining belongings will be discussed between both parties and carried out by the original owner.
- Located in the eastern part of Akechi-cho, along a mountain stream at an elevation of about 520 m. The vacant property is centered on a single-story wooden main house with a thatched-roof structure, together with a earthen storehouse (dozo) and a detached building. Part of it was also used as an office.
- Because the main house is a wooden Meiji-era building, it has no concrete foundation and stands on a sill (shiki-dodai). Its distinctive feature is the corrugated sheet-metal roof covering the original thatched roof. No traces of roof leaks can be seen inside. The adjoining two-story wooden house also shows no signs of leaks. However, because the clearing of belongings is still in progress, the condition of the interior finishes has not been checked. The kitchen, bathroom, washstand and boiler are all old-style fixtures. Outside, the bamboo thicket on the hillside behind the house is close to the building, which is a point of concern.
Note: Landslide hazard warning area: the entire site is within a red zone (special warning area).
Flood risk zone (L1/L2 assumptions): not designated.
Propery summary: 9DK, built in 1897 (Meiji 30), two-story kominka with garden, office space, storage shed and parking, flush toilet, earthen-floor area (doma), veranda (engawa) and connected large tatami hall. Building area 265.59 m², land area 843.42 m². Asking price: 2 million yen (vacant house bank, sale).
