For about 40 years, my husband and I ran a community-based electrical contracting shop on the ground floor. We kept the business going for many years with the support of local people, but closed it after my husband passed away in April 2023. Inheritance registration has since been completed and the property is now registered solely in my name (his wife). There are no mortgages or other encumbrances of any kind.
The ground floor was used until the business closed, so utilities such as electricity and water are still connected. It is currently a vacant shop. The upstairs living space has not been used for over 30 years and has remained vacant. The building is full of precious memories, so we have decided to sell it to someone who can put it to use for the local community in a new way.
Location and convenience: 5 minutes on foot to Arikawa Port, 1 minute on foot to a supermarket, 2 minutes on foot to a convenience store, and 1 minute by car to a drugstore. This is some of the best everyday convenience on the island. Because the ground floor was in use until recently, the utilities are live.
