I took over this land and house from a local resident last summer. I cleared out the belongings and spent about six months trying to repair it with the idea of renting it out, but the damage is extensive and it cannot be lived in as it is. Rather than hold on to it myself, I would like to hand it over to someone who can make good use of it.
It is a 5-minute walk from Ninomiya Station on the JR Tokaido Line, in a quiet, unpretentious town between the sea and the hills. A crane can reach the front road, so the site is easy to work on for both demolition and new construction. There is no mortgage on the property. It is badly deteriorated and not habitable as it is (walls have come off in places). A demolition estimate has already been obtained: 1,210,000 yen including tax. I can show you the written estimate. (Ninomiya Town offers a demolition subsidy of up to 500,000 yen. Individuals may be able to use it.) The road in front is about 2 m wide. Whether rebuilding is permitted has not yet been confirmed with the town. Because it is next to the JR tracks, you will hear trains. There is a well on the site. Trees and ivy are overgrown.
