I bought this old Japanese house (kominka) intending to run a kominka guesthouse and cafe, but I have run short of help and decided to give up on the plan. It was exactly the kind of kominka I wanted, in exactly the location I wanted. It is a place and a building well suited to a kominka guesthouse or kominka cafe. Every season is wonderful here: snowboarding in winter, wild mountain vegetables in spring, swimming at the beach in summer, and autumn foliage in fall.
The building is old, but it comes with a garage with a shutter, and the toilet is a flush toilet (connected to public water and sewerage). A 66 m² piece of forest land is included. The asking price is as stated below (negotiable). Yumura Onsen is nearby (about 15 minutes away), so you can go straight to a hot spring whenever you like.
