I bought this property two years ago intending to turn it into a vacation rental. It is located in a historic villa area that was developed in the early Showa era, alongside the construction of the Nasu Imperial Villa, for the political and business figures of the time.
There are two buildings: a 2-story main house (402 m²) and a single-story building (73 m²). I disposed of a large amount of belongings left by the previous owner, demolished the interior of the main house, and drew up a renovation plan. The main house was formerly a minshuku (guesthouse). It has a lush green garden, and greenery fills the windows along the veranda of the main house, giving the building a charming atmosphere. Because the total floor area of the main house is so large, the plan was to renovate only part of the first floor. The Seiji Fujishiro Museum is directly in front of the building, so I also planned to create shop spaces and rent them out. A hot spring connection is possible, although it involves separate costs. The area is fully equipped with sewerage. The good points are the large building, the spacious site, and the excellent location. The building shows deterioration due to age.
I am very fond of this property, but I have decided to sell it to fund business expansion in another area. Viewings are possible at any time.
