The property sits on the Shichiriiwa plateau at the foot of the Southern Alps, Mt. Kaikomagatake and the Hououzan (Mt. Houou) range, a 19-minute walk from Anayama Station. From near the site you can see these mountain massifs and the Yatsugatake range in the distance. As for the house, the toilet is not flush-type, so to bring it up to current living standards it needs renovation, together with the bathroom and the entrance door.
