Hokkaido is where I was born. I remember accompanying my father when he went to buy this lot. However, my father was later transferred to Honshu and was never able to return to Hokkaido, and more than half a century has passed with us only paying taxes and the costs of weeding and maintenance to the city. My mother inherited it and kept a fondness for it, but she has finally accepted that none of us will be able to live there, so I have decided to list it here.
I visited the site more than 15 years ago. The air was clear, there was the murmur of a stream, and the green walking path even had a charming small shrine, so I never felt like letting it go. I was told that an expressway (which does not harm the natural surroundings) passes nearby, and that beyond it there is a large, well-known ranch. I also recall that from the large road nearby (though traffic is probably light), you could see the sea far off straight down the road. In the end, though, Hokkaido was simply too far away.
Two years ago my daughter and her partner went to see it during a trip around Hokkaido and said it is a lovely place. They said a person across the road who was tending a home vegetable garden gave them freshly picked tomatoes. (Thank you.) What I had thought was a small stream is actually the (fine) Ushigoya River, and there is a small walking path and a nature park as well. I had assumed it was an old, dated subdivision, but it seems some new detached houses are going up here and there. You are welcome to take over the lot at any time, but I cannot give guided tours, so please visit the site yourself. I have also asked a local real estate agent to handle it. I would be happy if the price covers the procedural costs and lets me reassure my mother.
Utilities: I do not know about gas, but the others should be fine. I believe it is public water and sewage; I paid the fees for this many years ago. Everything I was billed for has been paid in full.
I have heard this is a mild area within Hokkaido, which local people will know well. (When we bought, it was advertised as the 'Shonan of Hokkaido.') I imagine it is still buried in snow in winter. I chose the innermost lot of the subdivision at that time, a quiet spot with pleasant greenery and nature, and thought it was far from public transport, but it seems a bus stop has recently been built nearby (please confirm). According to my daughter's account from two years ago, a neighbor (?) seemed to have left some items on the lot (things like lumber that look easy to remove).

北海道は私が生まれた地です。この宅地の購入に行く父に同行した記憶があります。ただその後父は本州に転勤となり、北海道に戻ることは叶わず、税金と除草や整備の諸費用を市に納め続けるのみで半世紀以上が経ってしまいました。現在は母が相続し思いを寄せ続けていましたが、もう誰も住みにいけない…とようやく納得してくれましたので、私がここに登録することにいたしました。
私が現地を訪れたのは15年以上も前になりますが、澄んだ空気と小川のせせらぎ、緑に沿った散歩道には趣のある祠もあって、手放すという気持ちにはなりませんでした。(自然を害さない)高速道路も通っていて、その向こうには大きな知名な牧場があると聞きました。また、近くの大きな通り(と言っても交通量はおそらく少ない)からは、真っすぐ下った遥か先に海も見えたと思います。けれども結局、北海道は遠過ぎでした。
一昨年には娘カップルが北海道周遊の途中で見に行ってくれましたが、やはりいいところだったと言っていました。道を挟んだお向かいで家庭菜園をなさっていた方が、取り立てトマトをくださったと言っていました。(ありがとうございました) 私が小川と思っていたのは(立派な)牛舎川、小さな散歩道や自然公園も整っているのですね。また、古くなってしまった分譲地と思っていましたが、新しい一戸建てもちらほら出来ているようでした。手放す時期は何時でも結構ですが、ご案内はできませんので、ご自身で現地を見に行っていただければと思います。地元の不動産屋さんにも依頼しています。価格は手続き諸費用を賄い、母を安心させてあげられるものであれば嬉しいです。
インフラに関し、ガス情報は存じませんが、その他は問題ないはずです。上下水道だと思うのですが、何年も前に費用をお支払いしていました。請求されたものは全て完全に納入しています。
北海道の中では温暖な地と聞いていますが、地元の方はご存じですね。（購入したころは北海道の湘南と謳われていました）冬はやはり雪に埋まるのでしょうか。当時の分譲地の一番奥の区画、緑と自然が心地よく静かなところを選んでいたので、公共交通機関から遠いと思っていたのですが、最近は近くにバス停も出来ているようです（要確認）一昨年の状況（娘談）で、おそらくご近所さん(?)が物(木材等簡単に取り払えそうな程度)を置かれているようでした。
