Description
This is a condominium in Izu with a 24-hour flowing natural hot spring.
I inherited this unit in 2024, but since it was purchased in 2020 it has not been lived in, so there are no leftover belongings. In February 2026 the wallpaper in the Western-style room was replaced, making it brighter. I used the hot spring from time to time, but as I live elsewhere I would like someone who wants to make use of it to have it. I will accommodate your requests as far as possible. Currently vacant.
The real highlight is that you can enjoy a truly good hot spring at any time. It is a chloride (salt) spring with a 24-hour continuously flowing source, so apart from cleaning times you can bathe freely as much as you like. It leaves the skin moist and smooth and warms you to the core. Please bring your own toiletries. The bathroom has a simple structure, but it is well maintained. The balcony faces south, so it is pleasantly warm in the sun. The room is not large, but you can furnish it to your own taste and enjoy a comfortable hot spring lifestyle.
The surroundings are unusually well equipped for this area, with the town office, hospital, pharmacy, clothing shop, convenience store, supermarket, post office, and a well-known confectionery shop. The roadside station Yu no Hana, within walking distance, is known throughout Izu for its selection and offers the region's delicious local products, with exceptionally fresh vegetables and fruit. There are also handmade prepared dishes, so you can enjoy good food without cooking. In spring, rapeseed flowers and Kawazu cherry blossoms bloom along the Aono River, a spectacular sight well worth seeing.
The building is not new, but it has many qualities you will not find anywhere else. You could buy it jointly with friends or companions and share it, use it for a hot spring stay (toji), or use it as a base to enjoy the Izu Peninsula to the fullest in every season. There is a bus stop for Shimoda Station right in front, and access has also become more convenient thanks to the Izu Jukan Expressway.
