I bought this property about six years ago, but I have unexpectedly inherited my family home, so I have decided to sell. The handover date is negotiable as the house is currently occupied (I can move out right away once a sale is agreed).
Both the house and the garden are spacious enough for children to run around in. According to an elderly neighbor, the soil in the vegetable garden is very good and things grow well. The azaleas, camellias and wisteria trellis flower beautifully, and there is also a plum tree. The house gets plenty of sunlight, and waking up to birdsong and the morning sun is wonderful.
All rooms are Japanese-style (washitsu): two sets of two 6-tatami rooms (12 tatami each) with a tokonoma alcove, an 8-tatami room with a tokonoma, a 4.5-tatami room, a small room of about 3 tatami, a wide L-shaped engawa veranda (wooden floor), a balcony, a kitchen of about 15 tatami (wooden floor), toilets (vault/pit type) in 2 locations with 3 stalls in total (one is a men's urinal), and a changing room and bathroom. Outside there is a large storage shed and a vegetable garden. Fruit trees include a plum tree and a kumquat tree.
There are a few occupied houses nearby. The property sits on a south-facing terraced slope on a hill, with wonderful views of the green mountains by day and the lights of Sasebo city below at night.
The house is surrounded by a fence and has a gate. Cars cannot enter the property, so it is quiet, and you can rest easy even if a small child were to wander out through the gate. (This is what made me buy it.) Because cars cannot access the property, it may suit younger generations better than elderly people.
I rent a parking space nearby (2 to 3 minutes on foot) for 5,000 yen per month. Going down the hill, shopping malls, restaurants and other conveniences are close by (about a 10-minute walk).

6年ほど前に購入しましたが、思わぬ展開にて実家を相続した為、思い切って売却する事にしました。引渡し時期は居住中につき応相談。(売却が決まればすぐに出れます)
家の中も庭も広く子どもが走り回れます。畑は土がとても良いそうで(近所のお婆さん談)
よく育ちます。つつじ、つばき、藤棚の花がとても見事です。梅の木も有ります。日当たり良好で、朝、鳥のさえずりと朝日で目覚めるのが最高です。
部屋は全て和室。((床の間付きの6畳2間(12畳)×2部屋、床の間付きの8畳間、4畳半、3畳ほどの小さい部屋、広いL字の縁側(板の間)、ベランダ、15畳ほどの台所(板の間)、トイレ(汲み取り式)2箇所3つ(1つは男性用小便器)、脱衣所と風呂場。))外に大きな物置と畑、果樹は梅と金柑があります。
近隣に居住中の住宅が数軒ありますが、高台の南向きひな壇になっており、昼間は山々の緑、夜は佐世保の街の光を見下ろす景色がとても素晴らしいです。
家の周りは囲われていて門扉もあります。車侵入不可なので、静かですし、小さなお子様が万が一、門から出てしまっても安心です。(そこが氣に入って購入しました。)車が侵入できませんので、年配の方よりも若い世代向けかもしれません。
駐車場は近隣(徒歩2～3分)5,000円/月で借りています。高台を下ればショッピングモールや飲食店等がすぐ近くにあり便利な場所です。(徒歩10分ほど)
